Robert was my sister, Angela’s, beloved husband for over 41 years and they had a wonderful life together, travelling to all parts of the world and usually being able to fit the trip in to coincide with Robert’s love of Rugby! They adored each other which was always so evident to see when they were together, Rest in Peace now dear Robert with love from all the family.

Robert (Spud) got me my first job in an office after I served my apprenticeship. This changed my life, and I thank him every time I hear his name. I am sorry I can't be at his funeral as I will be in South Africa, I send my love to him and his family.

Robert was my brother-in-law. Living oceans apart kept me from getting to know him. What I have learnt is that Robert was a good, decent, caring man. Robert and Angela enjoyed life and were devoted to each other.I remember Robert proudly carrying his bride over their threshold. Angela was the most important thing to Robert, right to the end. Wish I had known him better. Thank you Robert, be at peace.
